I'm born and raised in Edinburgh. The sooner they get rid of the fringe the better. All these fuckers that come here treat my city like a goddamn toilet and drive up the rent. Fuck all you people who ruin my city
Ah, one of the famously friendly and welcoming Edinburgh residents I’ve come to know and love. Delighted to welcome you to the treasure chest!
The fringe certainly isn’t without its flaws, and I have no doubt there’s a portion of the folk that come alongside it that do indeed treat the city like a toilet - as indeed do some of the residents, it has to be said - but I’d like to think that for the vast majority of us who deeply love and respect the city and its poor inhabitants who endure the influx of folk every year, there’s a certain energy, creativity and, dare I say, economic boost that comes with the arrival of the festival that, for some, may make it a more optimistic venture.
You talk about respect, but you defend a system that harms the people who live here. The Fringe needs accountability. Year after year, the same problems return. Rents spike. Workers are exploited. Basic services collapse under pressure. These are not unfortunate side effects. If you really cared about the city Centre (I'll guess you dont spend nights in Wester Hailles or Niddry) and its people, you would stop repeating the brochure and start listening to those forced to live with its consequences.
What a lucky guy! Getting to paint your face with a performance like that... I hope he really did make up for it.
Oh the Fringe!! Always a joy, I loved this. Captured the fun and the filth perfectly
I enjoyed the photos attire also lol
Comical descriptive and sexy! Great combo
Another (crowded) classic that leaves room for a sequel! Perhaps self serving but I hope Charlie took the opportunity to swing her cat elsewhere...
